Computer Cabinet Case

Some fragile and important parts of computer are locked in a box. This box is made of iron or plastic. This box is called Computer Case or Cabinet.

: In the absence of information to the Cabinet, people are called CPUs. But this is not true. The CPU contains a microprocessor chip attached to the motherboard. Therefore, escape from this confusion.

There are some Buttons and Connecting Ports on the outside of the Cabinet. With the help of which other supporting devices are connected to the computer. All important parts of the computer are attached to it. Whose information is given below.

Motherboard Computer is Main Circuit Board. The devices in which CPU, Hard Disk, USB Devices, Power Units, etc. are connected directly and indirectly. By this all the components related to the computer are connected. And they are also managed.

The full name of the CPU is Central Processing Unit. It is the brain of the computer. Because all logical and mathematical processes are done by this. All instructions are also solved by the CPU. The speed of doing it is very fast. CPU performance which is measured in MHz, GHz.
CPU is a square plate of about two inches. There is a Silicon Chip inside. This chip is equal to the forehead of our hands. The CPU is embedded in the CPU Socket in the motherboard. Which is covered with heat sink. Above is a cooling fan. You can easily recognize it.

The full name of RAM is Random Access Memory. RAM is the computer’s memory. In which the computer stores the data. Without this the computer can not do its job. This is the main memory of the computer. In which the computer stores the data of the current tasks.
RAM is a temporary memory. In which the data is stored for some time only. When a task ends or power supply closes. So the store data is automatically deleted in it.

4. Hard Disk Drive

Hard Disk Drive is a Secondary Storage Device. In which we can store songs, videos, photos, files etc. for ever. Store data is always stored in this device. And the power supply is not deleted even after closure.

5. Power Supply Unit

Power Supply Unit is known as SMPS. By which power is delivered to all the devices present in the cabinet. Its main work is to change the electricity coming from outside to the motherboard according to the need of the computer. From where power is delivered to other devices.

Note: Whenever you want to open the Computer Cabinet, first remove the Power Plug. Just touch the equipment inside it. So that you and your computer are safe.

6. Cooling Fan

The job of Cooling Fan is to protect the CPU from excess heat. It remains on top of the heat sink. Which you can easily recognize.

7. Expansions Cards

There are Expansions Slots in different motherboards. Expansions Cards are installed. Well, nowadays we do not need them. Because Video Cards, Sound Cards, Graphics Cards etc. are built in.

6. Drive Bays: Cases have 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drive bays for HDDs and SSDs, respectively. Tool-less or tool-free drive bays allow easy installation and removal of drives without needing screws.
7. Graphics Card Clearance: High-performance graphics cards can be quite large. Ensuring the case has enough clearance (both length and height) for the GPU is crucial.
8. Dust Filters: Many modern cases feature dust filters over intake fans to prevent dust buildup, which can affect cooling efficiency and component lifespan.
