Biography of Devendra Fadnavis

Early Life:

Devendra Gangadharrao Fadnavis was born on July 22, 1970, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, into a prominent political family. His father, Gangadharrao Fadnavis, was a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council. Devendra Fadnavis grew up with a keen interest in politics and law.


Devendra Fadnavis’s Education:

Fadnavis completed his Bachelor’s degree in Law from Government Law College in Nagpur. He later earned a post-graduate degree in Business Management (MBA) from the Institute of Management Development and Research, Pune.

Political Career:

Devendra Fadnavis began his political career at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He served as the President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of the BJP, in Maharashtra. In 1999, he was elected as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Nagpur West constituency, a seat he continued to hold in subsequent elections.
