Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, project management skills, and the ability to design and oversee construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee construction projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure, from concept to completion.
Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility, environmental impact, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare detailed engineering plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software and engineering principles.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
Monitor project progress, budget, and timeline, and address any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct quality control inspections and tests to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and progress reports for clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure projects are designed and executed according to best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and designs.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other engineering design tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.
Project management experience and familiarity with project management software is a plus.
