Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, a keen eye for detecting issues, and the ability to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and usability.
Perform manual and automated testing of web-based and mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to ensure product quality and alignment with project requirements.
Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on testability and potential quality issues.
Stay updated with industry best practices, testing tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements and enhancements to software development practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestComplete is highly desired.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation scripting.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
