Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to support our employees and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, paperwork processing, and training schedules.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Maintain accurate HR records and databases, including employee information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
Conduct training sessions on various HR topics, including diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance management.
Stay updated with HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, with a solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and HIPAA.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required.
