15th accused of Baba Siddiqui murder case arrested
Punjab Police and Mumbai Police have arrested an accused from Ludhiana in the murder case of MLA Baba Siddiqui. The name of the accused is Sujit Kumar. Let us tell you that the accused Sujit Kumar has been arrested in a joint operation conducted by Punjab Police and Mumbai Police. Accused Sujit Kumar has been arrested by the police from Bhamiya Kalan area. Let us tell you that after the murder of Baba Siddiqui, accused Sujit was hiding in his in-laws’ house. Let us tell you that till now a total of 15 people have been arrested in this case. Earlier, 14 people had been arrested in this murder case.
Another accused in Baba Siddiqui murder case arrested
According to Crime Branch officials, Sujeet played the role of a middleman to supply weapons to mastermind Zeeshan Akhtar and the shooters. The Crime Branch team is currently bringing Sujit back from Ludhiana to Mumbai. Mumbai Crime Branch officials revealed that Sujit had fled to his in-laws’ house in Ludhiana a month before the murder. Originally he is a resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. For the last few years, he was living in Chhedanagar area of Ghatkopar, Mumbai and used to work there. After the conspiracy to murder Baba Siddiqui, he ran away to Ludhiana and hid there.
15 accused arrested so far
According to the information, he had direct connection with mastermind Zeeshan Akhtar. Once in Ludhiana, Sujit introduced Akhat to the accused Nitin and Ram, who had helped in procuring weapons for the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Let us tell you that a few days ago, MLA Baba Siddiqui was murdered in public. Lawrence Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility for this massacre. After this murder, a continuous search is going on for the killers of Baba Siddiqui. A total of 15 people have been arrested so far in this case. Sujeet is the 15th accused to be arrested.
