Samastipur/ Amit Kumar: Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to operate special trains during Diwali and Chhath Puja. The objective of this initiative is to provide a safe and comfortable travel experience to passengers during the festival season, so that they can enjoy the festival with their families. In view of the increasing crowd during festivals, Railways has decided to run a weekly special train between Patliputra and Saharsa via Hajipur, Shahpur Patori, Barauni and Mansi.
Operation of special train
According to the schedule released by the Railways, train number 03388/03387 will be operated from 16 October 2024 to 27 December 2024. The operation of this train will not only control the increasing crowd during festivals, but will also provide a comfortable travel experience to the passengers.
Chief Public Relations Officer gave information
Giving information, the Chief Public Relations Officer of Hajipur said that keeping in mind the increasing number of passengers during Diwali and Chhath Puja, this special train service has been started. This train will run between Patliputra and Saharsa via Hajipur-Shahpur Patori-Barauni-Mansi. This special train will be operated with the rake of Patliputra-SMMB, Bengaluru Express, which will have a total of 13 coaches of different categories.
Train No. 03388 (Patliputra-Saharsa Special)
Train number 03388 will run from Patliputra every Wednesday from 16 October 2024 to 25 December 2024. Its timing will be as follows:
– 11:00 am: Departure from Patliputra
– 11:28 am: Sonpur
– 11:40 am: Hajipur
– 13:30: Barauni
– 14:00 hrs: Begusarai
– 14:30 hrs: Khagaria
– 14:50 hrs: Mansi
– 15:45 hrs: Simri Bakhtiyarpur
– 17:15 hrs: Will reach Saharsa
Train No. 03387 (Saharsa-Patliputra Special)
Train number 03387 will run from Saharsa every Friday from 18 October 2024 to 27 December 2024. Its timing will be as follows:
– 13:35 hrs: Departure from Saharsa
– 19:15 hrs: Will reach Patliputra
With the start of this special train service, passengers are expected to get great relief during festivals.
