Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis filed his nomination from South West Nagpur Assembly constituency on Friday. According to the affidavit given by him during nomination, Devendra Fadnavis has only Rs 23500 in cash. His total assets are worth Rs 5.25 crores.

His wealth has increased by 23 percent in the last few years. This increase has occurred due to increase in land prices. However he has only Rs 23500 in cash. Including wife’s property this figure reaches Rs 13 crore 27 lakh. The special thing is that Devendra Fadnavis had to take a loan of Rs 62 lakh from his wife Amrita.

Devendra Fadnavis has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 5.25 crore. Fadnavis, who is contesting from Nagpur for the sixth time, had movable assets worth Rs 45 lakh 96 thousand 634 and immovable assets worth Rs 3 crore 76 lakh 29 thousand in 2019. The total assets were worth Rs 4 crore 24 lakh 23 thousand 434. This property has increased by Rs 1 crore 80 thousand 233 in 5 years.
Amrita has assets worth more than 7 crores
Amrita Fadnavis had assets worth Rs 4 crore 38 lakh 97 thousand 741 in 2019. Now it has become 7 crore 92 lakh 21 thousand. He has movable assets worth Rs 6 crore 96 lakh 92 thousand and immovable assets worth Rs 95 lakh 29 thousand in his name.
Agriculture and social service told as main business
Devendra Fadnavis has mentioned agriculture and social service as his profession. It is mentioned in the affidavit that Fadnavis has taken a loan of Rs 62 lakh from Amrita. Devendra Fadnavis does not have an FIR registered in even a single case.
