The country’s famous industrialist Ratan Tata breathed his last at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at 11.30 pm on Wednesday night. Ratan Tata was undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai where he was admitted due to difficulty in breathing. Today Ratan Tata’s mortal remains will be kept in the NCPA lawn of Nariman Plant. On the demise of Ratan Tata, the Maharashtra government has announced the cancellation of all government programs in Mumbai today. The Maharashtra government has also decided to perform his last rites with state honours.
The last rites will be performed at Worli cremation ground.
Ratan Tata’s mortal remains were taken from Breach Candy Hospital to his Colaba home late last night from where it will be brought to Nariman Point today so that the general public can pay homage to the departed soul. His mortal remains will be taken to Worli crematorium for cremation at 3.30 pm. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand government has announced one day state mourning on the death of Ratan Tata. Veteran leaders of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu have expressed grief over the demise of Ratan Tata. Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani have also condoled the demise of Ratan Tata.
Started job from Tata Steel Plant in Jamshedpur
Ratan Tata, who had prepared for a job in America, started his career in 1961 and started climbing the heights of success from there.
