Swift action has been taken against factories manufacturing adulterated mawa, ghee and cheese in Bhopal, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Tikamgarh, Dabra and Ujjain. A large quantity of adulterated material, which is supplied to different parts of the country, has been recovered in Gwalior, Morena, Bhind, Dabra and Ujjain districts.
Supplies are made from here to the entire country
Gwalior, Bhind, Morena are those areas of Madhya Pradesh. From where Mawa is especially in demand all over the country. From here these goods are supplied to different parts of the country. During the Diwali season, adulterators take advantage of this and supply fake mawa and fake ghee in large numbers. The administration has taken strict action against them.
Fake mawa was kept in 23 pieces
9 kg of suspected mawa was seized in a loading auto outside the railway station of the capital Bhopal. This mawa was kept in about 23 bundles in a loading auto. According to the information, this mawa was sent to Agra from Morena. From where, according to sources, it came to be supplied to all the shops of Bhopal.
Action started after taking samples
The food department of the government has taken four samples and kept the mawa in cold storage. The value of the seized mawa is said to be more than Rs 2 lakh. Along with this, Bhanwarpura police station of Gwalior lost the suspect before Diwali. A raid has been conducted on a ghee manufacturing factory. A huge quantity of suspected khoya and ghee was seized from the spot. The Food Department has started further action by taking samples.
Fake mawa was being made from chemicals and refined
Police had received information that adulterated khoya and ghee were being made through indigenous furnaces in Sikrawari village. The police team of Bhanwarpura police station, while raiding the village, recovered a large quantity of adulterated mawa being made in furnaces. This mawa was being made through chemicals and refined.
There was preparation to make one thousand kilos of fake mawa
The police detained some people while making mawa and recovered about 150 kg of suspected adulterated mawa. Along with this, bad refined and chemicals have also been recovered from here. From the material found on the spot, it was estimated that the adulterants were preparing to make about 1000 kg of fake mawa.
Fake food items were being sent to Indore, Bhopal and UP
After receiving information from the police, the Food Safety Department team also reached the spot. Samples were taken for testing. Information has been received that in these villages located in the forests of Bhanwarpura, fake mawa was being made and sent to Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur cities of Madhya Pradesh and also to Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

There were preparations to make and send about 10,000 kg of fake mawa from here till Diwali. But after the police action, their plans were ruined. In such a situation, on the application of the Food Department, the police is now taking legal action on this entire matter.
