New Delhi. Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of AIIMS has also come in support of the doctors sitting on hunger strike in the Kolkata RG tax case. After writing a letter to the Chief Minister of West Bengal, now AIIMS RDA has written a letter to President Draupadi Murmu and has sought intervention in the Kolkata matter. RDA said that the demands of the students sitting on hunger strike should be taken into consideration. There are a total of three demands in this letter. First- Ensure immediate action is taken by the authorities in West Bengal by addressing the demands of the doctors sitting on hunger strike. Second- Speed up the release of the status of NTF guidelines made on the orders of the Supreme Court and ensure their speedy implementation. Third, ensure that appropriate measures are taken to prevent such tragic incidents and protect health workers from violence and unsafe working conditions.
