After the arrest of Sanjay Roy, the accused in this case, people continued to protest and demanded the strictest punishment for the accused. In this case, after Kolkata Police, the investigation of the case was handed over to CBI. CBI filed the charge sheet in this case on Monday.
During the hearing of the Kolkata rape and murder case, a copy of the charge sheet was also given to Sanjay Roy in the courtroom. Meanwhile, the main accused opened his mouth and said, “Judge sir, I have something to say.” Let us tell you that he was arrested on August 10 in the case of rape and murder of a young doctor in RG Kar Medical College. After about two months, the main accused Sanjay Roy opened his mouth for the first time. Charges will be framed against Sanjay on November 4. The proceedings against him in the Sealdah court will be completely heard ‘in-camera’, that is, the hearing will be held in a closed room in the court.

On Tuesday, a day after the CBI filed its first chargesheet in the RG Kar rape and murder case, Sanjay Roy told the court on Tuesday that he has something to say. CBI found 11 evidences against Sanjay Roy
However, CBI claims that 11 ‘evidence’ has been found against Sanjay. The charge sheet filed by the Central Investigation Agency states that many evidences like CCTV footage, injury marks on Sanjay’s body, DNA report, location of mobile phone, hair, Bluetooth earphones have been found, which prove that Kolkata Police committed rape.
