Gorakhpur. Railways is operating thousands of special trains on the occasion of Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja. Special arrangements have been made to handle the rush of passengers and ensure smooth travel. This time a total of 6,556 special trains will operate across the country. 154 Puja special trains passing through North Eastern Railway will be run in 1,209 trips, which will take passengers to major cities.
Trains will run from Gorakhpur to these cities
Giving information, Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, told Local 18 that special trains are being operated by the Railways to ensure that people do not face any problem in commuting during the festivals. Many puja special trains are also being operated from Gorakhpur station. In which special trains are being run from Gorakhpur to major stations like Mahbubnagar, Delhi, Amritsar, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Sealdah, Vadodara and Dahanu Road.
Trains will also run from Chhapra to many cities
Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, said that special trains will also run from Chapra to Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Vadodara and Durg. Special services will also be provided from Lalkuan to Howrah and Rajkot, Tanakpur to Daurai, Mau to Vadodara and Delhi, Banaras to Mumbai, Ballia to Delhi and Ghazipur City to Udhna for the convenience of passengers. All the puja special trains are for the convenience of the people. With the operation of these trains, people will not have to fight for tickets. You will be able to travel comfortably by purchasing tickets easily.
Special train will run for two months
Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, said that 89 Puja special trains from North Eastern Railway will run in 736 trips, while 65 other trains will run for major cities in 473 trips. This special service will continue for two months. This time there has been an increase in the number of special trains compared to last year, where last year 4,429 trips were made, whereas this year there will be 6,556 trips.
