Pilibhit. Serial attacks by wild animals are continuing in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday evening, a woman who had gone to collect fodder for the animals was attacked by a tiger. It was fortunate that due to the noise of the villagers present nearby, the tiger ran away from the incident site. At present the injured woman has been taken to the hospital.
Actually, the whole matter is being told about Kabirganj village under Hazara police station area of Pilibhit. Aarti Devi, a resident of the place, had gone to cut fodder for her pets from a nearby field on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the tiger hiding in the sugarcane field attacked him. Hearing the woman’s scream during the attack, the villagers present in the nearby fields ran towards the incident site. When the villagers raised an alarm, the tiger left the woman and again entered the sugarcane fields. The woman suffered serious injuries to her neck in the tiger attack. At present the woman is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors.
Kheri Forest Department will investigate
Actually, the area where the tiger attack incident took place is located on the Pilibhit-Lakhimpur border. In such a situation, the village comes under district Pilibhit but the forest from which the tiger came out is Kabir Ganj beat of the buffer zone of district Kheri. In such a case, only the forest department of Lakhimpur will take action in the matter. Giving more information on the entire matter, Divisional Forest Officer of North Kheri Forest Division, Sourish Sahay said that information about wildlife attack has been received. The matter is being investigated, only after investigation it will be clear which wildlife has carried out the attack.
