Patna. Darshan of Maa Durga will start in the capital Patna from today, the seventh day of Navratri. On the occasion of Saptami, a large number of devotees will visit the Mother Goddess in temples and puja pandals from the evening. Meanwhile, the weather is also going to support the people. According to the Meteorological Center based in Patna, there is no possibility of rain in the capital at present, and the weather will remain hot.
Sunshine is strong and chances of rain are less
According to Meteorological Center scientist Soni Kumari, the wind direction has changed in Patna. Now westerly wind is blowing instead of eastern wind, due to which the formation of clouds is gradually decreasing. Due to this change the probability of rain has also reduced. However, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be light drizzle in some areas of Patna today, but its probability is very less.
Dry season starts from tomorrow
According to IMD forecast, the weather of Patna will remain completely dry from tomorrow. Due to strong sunlight the temperature will increase and the effect of heat will increase. The wind speed is likely to be 10 to 11 km per hour. The maximum temperature of the day will be around 34 degrees Celsius. However, today there will be movement of clouds in the sky throughout the day, due to which light shade may remain despite sunshine.
Light drizzle possible
There is a possibility of light drizzle between 11 am and 12 noon today, but its probability is only 50%. After this the weather will remain dry throughout the day. Crowds of devotees are also gathering in areas like Gardnibagh, Kankarbagh and Boring Road of Patna. Keeping in mind the weather conditions, devotees are being advised to take precautions to avoid sun and heat.
There is a huge crowd of devotees at major places of worship in Patna like Kadamkuan, Patna City and Bailey Road to have darshan of Mata. Rain is not going to be a hindrance for the devotees to have darshan.
