Mumbai: With the announcement of assembly elections, there is continuous turmoil in the politics of Maharashtra. The two largest alliances of the state, Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi, have not yet agreed on all the seats. On Tuesday, in the middle of the meeting on seat sharing, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut came out and left in his car while the leaders of Congress and NCP (SP) continued the meeting.

When Sanjay Raut was asked about ticket distribution in MVA, he said that everything is going well in the alliance. Raut said, ‘Everything is fine in MVA. Tomorrow we will hold a press conference. Along with Raut, Shiv Sena UBT Lok Sabha MP Anil Desai also came out of the meeting. While reacting to the news of Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray contesting elections from Mahim assembly seat, Raut said that in a democracy everyone has the right to contest elections. Let us tell you that there is some uproar among the constituent parties of Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra regarding ticket distribution.
What happened in the MVA meeting?
Quoting sources, news is coming that even today the deadlock over seats continued in the MVA meeting. Many leaders including Nana Patole, Balasaheb Thorat, Sanjay Raut, Jayant Patil, Vijay Wadettivar, Varsha Gaikwad, Anil Desai, Jayant Patil, Jitendra Ahwad were present in the meeting which started at around 6 pm. It is being told that there is still a deadlock on more than a dozen seats in MVA and efforts are going on to resolve it. If sources are to be believed, when Congress leader Balasaheb Thorat met Uddhav Thackeray today, Uddhav told him to resolve everything today itself otherwise we will release our list tomorrow.
Questions started arising due to Raut’s departure
Many questions have been raised when Sanjay Raut and Anil Desai got up and left the meeting at 10 pm. After all, why did both the leaders of the Uddhav group leave such an important meeting midway? Was there a heated debate again today between Congress and the Uddhav faction? Despite all the claims, the deadlock still persists regarding seat distribution in MVA and nothing has been clarified. Now questions are being raised whether Uddhav will also release the list of his candidates like SP and Shetkari Kamgar Party?
On which seats is the problem stuck?
If sources are to be believed, there is a tussle regarding seats in North Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Mumbai. According to sources, the talks got stuck on South Nagpur, Ramtek, Warora, Chandrapur, Kamathi, Bhandara, Amravati and Daryapur in Vidarbha, Ghatkopar West, Bykala, Versova, Kurla, Bandra East in Mumbai and Parola-Aerodal and Nashik West seats in North Maharashtra. Has happened. Now all eyes are on the press conference to be held on Wednesday to see whether the matter is resolved among the MVA constituents or not.

As the discussion on seat sharing continues, small parties within the opposition camp including Samajwadi Party, Aam Aadmi Party, Left parties and Peasant and Workers Party are becoming restless. Samajwadi Party and Peasant and Workers Party have even announced the names of candidates on some seats as the nomination process has started, the last date of which is October 29.
Why are small parties worried?
Due to continuous delay in seat allotment election The performance of small parties may be affected, so they are worried. In the last Lok Sabha elections, MVA had got 31 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, hence smaller parties are keen to contest the elections under the banner of ‘INDIA’ alliance. NDA had won only 17 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. While MVA’s major constituents Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) participated in the Lok Sabha elections, smaller parties played an important role by supporting the campaign of the opposition alliance without contesting the general elections.
