What is the eligibility for JEE Mains 2025?
Candidates can understand the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains 2025 January session through the points given below.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed their class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. At the same time, students appearing for class 12 examination in 2025 are also eligible to apply for it.
- Minimum Marks: It is usually around 75% for general category candidates and 65% for SC/ST candidates, but it is best to check the specific requirements for the institutes of interest.
- Required subjects: Candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics and one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subject in class 12th.
- Candidates can appear for JEE Main exam for a maximum of three consecutive years. Moreover, there is no upper age limit to apply for JEE Main 2025 i.e. there is no maximum age limit.
