On this day, Kuber Dev and Lord Dhanvantari are worshiped along with Mother Lakshmi. Dhanteras is also known as Dhantrayodashi and Dhanvantari Jayanti. According to the scriptures, on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, during the churning of the ocean, Lord Dhanvantari appeared carrying an urn of nectar. Therefore, buying utensils on the day of Dhanteras is also considered very auspicious. Dhanvantari Dev ji had propagated medical science in the world. On the day of Dhanteras, they are also worshiped for good health. There is a tradition of buying new things on the day of Dhanteras. It is said that buying new auspicious things on this day increases wealth and prosperity by 13 times. The auspicious time for shopping on Dhanteras will start from 10.31 am on October 29, which will end at 6.32 am on October 30. In such a situation, you can buy gold, silver and vehicles during this time. On the remaining days of Dhanteras, 3 Muhurat will be best for purchasing gold, silver, vehicles and other things.
