Dhanbad: Indian Railways has provided great convenience to the railway passengers of Dhanbad during the festive season. Railways has made temporary stoppage of two major trains running via Dhanbad and Gomo at Chaubey station. This stoppage will bring relief especially to the passengers who travel during the festive season and regularly travel on this route.
According to railway officials, temporary stoppage of Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi Express and Kolkata-Jammuthavi Express has been given at Chaubey station in both directions till November 10, 2024. This decision has been taken in view of the increasing number of passengers due to the festive season, so that their travel can be made easy and convenient.
Stoppage of these two trains
1. Patna-Ranchi Janshatabdi Express: This train is an important train running between major cities of Bihar and Jharkhand. Train number 12365 will reach Chaube station at 09.40 and will depart at 09.42. Similarly, train number 12366 will reach Chaubey station at 18.28 hrs and will depart further at 18.30 hrs.
2. Kolkata-Jammuthavi Express: This train is an important train connecting Eastern and Northern India, which covers a long distance from Kolkata to Jammu Tawi. Train No. 13151 will reach Chaube station at 18.20 hrs and will depart further at 18.22 hrs. Similarly, 13152 will reach Chaubey station at 08.26 hrs and will depart further at 08.28 hrs.
Beneficial decision for passengers
This decision of Railways will directly benefit the passengers living around Chaubey station. This temporary stop will provide them the facility to board and deboard at the nearest station, which will save them from traveling long distances. Railways also said that this stoppage will be in force till November 10, after which a decision will be taken to extend or end it depending on the number of passengers and their response.
Passenger safety priority
Railways has also assured to strengthen the security arrangements on this occasion. In view of the crowd during the festive season, the deployment of Railway Protection Force (RPF) will be increased to ensure the safety of passengers. Additional security guards and help desk will also be arranged at Chaube station, so that passengers can get any kind of assistance. This step taken by the Railways during the festive season will not only prove convenient for the passengers, but will also increase the confidence of the passengers towards the Railways.
