DMRC has already issued an advisory considering the problems of the people. In fact, train service on the Yellow Line of Delhi Metro may be disrupted on October 11, 2024.
According to the information, due to maintenance work at the University station of Yellow Line of Delhi Metro, train services will be affected for some time in the morning on October 11. DMRC officials gave this information on Thursday. The Yellow Line connects Delhi’s Samaypur Badli to Gurugram’s Millennium City Centre. A large number of people travel on this route. The number of employed people going from Gurugram to Delhi and from Delhi to Gurugram is very high. The point of the matter is that Friday is also a working day.

DMRC officials said that as part of pre-scheduled maintenance activities, train services at the University Metro station on the Yellow Line route will be controlled for some time till 6.25 am on Friday. A senior Delhi Metro Rail Corporation official said that on Friday, the first train service from University to Millennium City Center will start at 6:29 am instead of 6 am and the first train service from Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli will start at 6 am instead of 6 am. Will start at 6:40.
Train service closed from University to Kashmir Gate
A senior DMRC official further said that no train service will be available between the university and Kashmere Gate metro stations. Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will remain closed till 6:25 am. However, he said that train services will remain normal on the remaining sections of the Yellow Line from Millennium City Center to Kashmere Gate and Samaypur Badli to University. Due to maintenance work, train services between University and Kashmere Gate metro stations were not available for 6.40 minutes last Sunday.
