This facility is being provided to the families of children by the Postal Department. It will not cost you anything to make the Aadhaar card of your children at home.
Gaurav Joshi, postmaster of the head post office in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, told Local 18 that if anyone wants to get Aadhaar card made for their children, they can register by going to the Post Info app of the postal department or contact the postman of their area. Can do. After your registration, we will get the request and then the postman of the concerned area will come to the house and make the Aadhaar card of the children.
Information will have to be given like this
To make Aadhaar card, family members will have to download the Postal Department’s Post Info app on their mobile, which is available free of cost on Play Store. After this, you will have to complete the process asked online, like name, address, mobile number etc. After this all the information will have to be submitted. After this process is completed, the team of the department will reach your home to make the Aadhar card of the child. Apart from this, offline information can also be given to the postmaster. After this, the IT team of the department will reach the child’s house to make his Aadhar card.
If there is no birth certificate…?
To make Aadhaar card of a child, only his birth certificate is sufficient. If you do not even have the birth certificate of the child, then only the discharge certificate issued from the hospital or the school ID card can be given as proof. Apart from this, any valid ID proof like Aadhar card, voter ID card, driving license or passport of either the mother or father should be there.
