West Champaran:- After heavy rains in September, the people of West Champaran have started feeling the drop in temperature only in the middle of October. The residents of Champaran, who have been facing the alert of rain and thunderstorm for a long time, may now have to face the warning of drop in temperature. Let us tell you that the minimum temperature of the district has reached 33 to 21 degrees, due to which the people of the district have started feeling cold in the morning and evening. The situation in the forest areas has reached such a stage that by 8 in the morning, dense fog is visible on the roads. As far as night is concerned, from midnight till 6 in the morning one has to cover oneself with blanket without fan.
Minimum temperature reached 21 degrees in forest areas
According to weather experts, the south-west monsoon has departed from Bihar. In such a situation, the winds have also started changing direction. Whereas till now the effect of south-westerly winds was seen in the state, now due to change in the weather, north-westerly winds have started bringing down the temperature. If we talk about Bettiah, the headquarters of West Champaran district, then on Monday the maximum temperature here is likely to be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 26 degrees. If we talk about the forest areas of the district like Valmiki Nagar, Gaunaha, Bagaha Harnatand etc. blocks, then on Monday the maximum temperature here is likely to be 31 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 21 degrees.
Dense fog is visible on the roads
Diwakar Pandey, a resident of Valmiki Nagar, tells Local 18 that for the past one week, dense fog has been seen on the roads in the forest areas till 8 am. However, due to the increased temperature in the afternoon, some heat can be felt. But as the day progresses, along with the drop in temperature, the feeling of cold also begins. The thing to note is that after midnight the temperature is going down so much that we have to cover ourselves with blankets without fan.

dew drops falling like rain
