Early Life and Acting Career:

Shatrughan Sinha was born into a Kayastha family in Bihar. He graduated in arts from the FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) in Pune and later moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. He made his acting debut in the film “Sajan” in 1969 but gained significant recognition for his role in the movie “Kalicharan” (1976). He became popular for his on-screen persona and unique style.
Sinha appeared in numerous successful films during the 1970s and 1980s, including “Dostana,” “Naseeb,” “Shaan,” and “Kaala Patthar.” He worked with several leading actresses and directors of his time, establishing himself as a versatile and bankable actor.

• Shatrughan Sinha married former Miss Young India ‘Poonam Sinha’. Shatrughan did propose by writing ‘Pakija’ dialogue ‘Do not keep your feet on the ground …’ on the train running in Poonam. After marriage, he has two sons, Love, Kush and a daughter actress Sonakshi Sinha.
