Hardik Patel’s Patidar Reservation Agitation:

Hardik Patel rose to prominence in 2015 when he led the Patidar reservation agitation, demanding reservations in government jobs and educational institutions for the Patidar community, also known as the Patel community, which is a dominant and influential community in Gujarat. The agitation, which was largely peaceful, gained massive support and garnered significant media attention. Hardik Patel became a symbol of the movement and a prominent face advocating for the rights of the Patidar community.
