Muzaffarpur:- Bihar Education Department has issued a new order for the teachers of government schools of Bihar. In the order issued, it has been said that if you are a teacher of a government school, then you do not have to come to school wearing T-shirt and jeans. If you come, and also if you are fond of dancing on DJ and making reels on social media, then be careful, because the Education Department has issued a new order and has also told that government teachers will now come to schools wearing only formal clothes. . Besides, any kind of entertainment programs have also been banned in any school. Bihar Education Department has taken this big decision to keep the environment of government schools completely educational. But teachers are very angry with this decision of the department.
So-cause coming in different clothes
Vanshidhar Brijwasi, teacher and president of teachers’ organization, told Local 18 that you have seen that earlier in some district, a ‘so-cause’ was issued that if you keep a beard, then you will be so-caused. Now it is being told that there will be a so-cause for wearing jeans, so-cause for keeping a beard, so-cause for wearing sandalwood, action will be taken for having hair, but what is the purpose of this? There is some logic behind anything.
The officials of the Education Department who have given instructions that one should not go wearing jeans, then those officials should tell us what is the problem with jeans. If you believe that jeans are objectionable, then the Indian provision is dhoti-kurta and the Additional Chief Secretary of our education department should wear dhoti-kurta himself and all the teachers will also wear it, do they even know how to wear dhoti-kurta? Whoever wears it here will get wrapped around his feet and will fall down and die.
Ban imposed without logic
Vanshidhar Brijwasi raised questions on the decision of the department and said that you are providing jeans for some reason, there must be some logic to it. Opening the dictionary, he explained the complete definition of jeans and T-shirt and said that denim or strong cotton pants are called jeans. Now if the teacher will not wear strong clothes, then why will he wear weak clothes? These are useless things of the department. Nowadays, jeans are acceptable in our society and it has become ingrained among us. One should not object to whatever is accepted by the society.
As far as T-shirt is concerned, a half sleeve shirt without buttons or collar is called T-shirt. If the half sleeves do not cover the body, they can be removed. We are in favor that teachers should not go wearing such clothes. But if there is a T-shirt covering the body, then there is no problem in wearing it. Jeans and T-shirts are comfortable, simple, durable and affordable clothes. It is not at all right for the Education Department to issue an order on this.

Education department will not change due to change in attire
Teacher Rakesh Kumar told Local 18 that jeans and T-shirts are available at low prices. If the teacher feels comfortable, he goes and buys his own and wears it. The education department intends to harass the teacher somehow. How will there be change in the education department by changing the attire? Individual people have their own choices about what to wear. Now the objection to personal choice is that jeans and t-shirts are bad. If you don’t want to wear it, then enforce the dress code. After this there will be no objection. From tomorrow, some will go in lungi, while others will go wearing clothes as per their own opinion. It is better to remove the dress code than to remove 75 things. You also decide the money, everything will work as per your wish.
