Darbhanga :- In Bihar, the Nagar Panchayat Primary Teachers Association has raised questions on the government’s policy regarding transfer posting of teachers who have passed the literacy test. The union says that the new transfer posting policy is a way to cheat teachers and they are preparing for a big movement against it. Darbhanga District President Rafiuddin Siddiqui said that the government had earlier said that disabled teachers, women and other teachers would be given Grih Panchayat, but now this is not happening. Male teachers are being posted outside the subdivision, which will cause mental problems to them.

The union says that in 2015, the employed teachers were given a salary scale of Rs 5200, due to which they came under the status of state employees. Now NPS is being demanded from them.
