Yes, now the department has taken this big decision to keep the school environment completely educational.
Strict action taken after dance video goes viral on social media
The Education Department has cited the dance and DJ videos going viral on social media as the main reason behind this decision. In recent times, many videos have surfaced on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, in which teachers and teachers are seen dancing in schools. The department believes that such activities not only negatively impact the academic environment of the school, but also harm the dignity of the school.
Taking strict action on this matter, Director Administration cum Additional Secretary of the Education Department, Subodh Kumar Chaudhary has written a letter to all the district education officers. He has made it clear that such non-academic and low level activities in schools should be stopped immediately.
It will be mandatory to come in formal dress

Citing old instructions, the department said that in the memorandum of the General Administration Department dated 28 August 2019, instructions were also given to follow the formal dress code. But recently, incidents of teachers coming to school in casual clothes have increased, due to which the school environment is being affected.
Dance and music allowed only on special occasions
Dance and music programs have not been completely banned in schools, but they will be allowed only on special occasions specified in the calendar of the education department. Such programs should also be organized within the ambit of discipline and decorum.
Action will be taken if the order is not followed
The Education Department has made it clear that if any teacher or employee does not follow these instructions, strict action will be taken against him. The department believes that it is extremely important to maintain decency and dignity in schools, and that is why these steps have been taken.
