To boost the morale of such girls, District Magistrate of Bageshwar, Uttarakhand, Ashish Bhatgani has taken a unique initiative in the district. Under this, the DM himself will communicate with the girls studying in the inter colleges of Bageshwar and will give them information about career options. This program has been named ‘Mera Sapna Mera Lakshya’. These girl students will also be made to visit the sections of the district administration and the departments of Vikas Bhawan one by one, which will help the girls in choosing their career option. Along with this, the girl students will also be made to interact with the women officers posted in these departments.
Talking to Local 18, DM Ashish Bhatgani said that hard work and discipline are necessary to reach any goal, but to reach the goal which the daughters of our district want to reach, they need to be fully aware of the path to the goal. There should be information. For this, through this initiative, girls will be given exposure visits to career options one by one.
Purpose of ‘My Dream My Goal’
With this initiative of DM, the girl students of the district will be able to easily get information about the career options available around them and the daughters will be free to dream of their desired career with open eyes. The district administration will provide all possible help to the girls in fulfilling their dreams.

When inter college students were talked about this, they said that this program is a new experience for them, which will help in shaping their future. The information which they are not able to get in school, they are getting it due to the initiative of the District Magistrate. After communicating with him, we got information about many new career options. To show the right direction towards our goal, he gave us many suggestions, which will prove helpful for our future. The people of Bageshwar are also praising this initiative of the District Magistrate. He says that this type of initiative has never been seen in the district before. This is a good initiative to give flight to the dreams of daughters.
