Ayodhya/Sarvesh Srivastava: The potter families of Ayodhya have shown great eagerness about the Deepotsav. He says that this time’s Deepotsav will be very special and grand, because Lord Ram Lala is now seated in the grand temple. In this eighth Deepotsav, an attempt will be made to set a new world record by lighting 25 lakh lamps, for which there is a plan to light about 30 lakh lamps on the ghats of Ayodhya.
Deepotsav in Lord Ram’s city Ayodhya has completely changed the lifestyle of potter families. For the last 7 years, the potters of Ayodhya have been getting orders for making lamps on a large scale, due to which their standard of living has improved and their sources of income have also increased. The potter families say that the amount of support they have received during the tenure of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was like never before. He says that Yogi Adityanath is like God for him, because during his reign he has got good work and source of income due to Deepotsav. This year he has received an order to make 10 lakh lamps, from which he is expecting good income.
Preparations for Diwali are in full swing
Rajesh Kumar Prajapati told that this time the preparations for the Diwali festival are in full swing, and he has also received an order to make 10 lakh lamps. He said that our work is going on fast and after the completion of the order, we may get more orders. Every year lakhs of lamps are made during the festival of lights, which increases our business and also increases our income.
The potter said – Yogi ji is God for us.
Meanwhile, resident Prajapati said that his business flourishes during Deepotsav and he earns good profits every year. He also praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that Yogi ji is no less than a god for us.
Ayodhya will shine with 25 lakh lamps
Ayodhya DM Chandra Vijay Singh said that this will be the first Deepotsav after the consecration of Ram temple, in which a target has been set to light 25 lakh lamps. Last year 21 lakh lamps were lit. This time, other important places of Ayodhya including Ram Ki Paidi will also be decorated with lamps. He said that all the preparations for Deepotsav are going on at a fast pace and it is expected that this time too a new world record will be created.
