After this, on Monday morning the team of Municipal Corporation and District Administration took action to remove encroachment from the house of the accused. During this period a large number of police forces were deployed.
Taking action against the illegal encroachment of Kuldeep Sahu, the main accused in the double murder, the police used bulldozers at three places. The administration demolished two houses and two warehouses during the action. During this time, a large number of police forces and revenue staff were present on the spot.
Who is Kuldeep Sahu?
According to the police, Kuldeep Sahu is a habitual criminal. Many cases of murder, robbery, intimidation and extortion are registered against him. Apart from being a scrap dealer, he also works in buying and selling land. He also calls himself a leader of NSUI, but NSUI has distanced itself from this. Kuldeep was already having a dispute with the policemen. During Durga idol immersion, he had thrown boiling oil on a constable. After this, when the police went to arrest him, he tried to run over the policemen by ramming them. After this incident, he reached ASI’s house and killed his wife and daughter.
