Amethi: यहां टूट गई 113 साल पुरानी परंपरा, नहीं हुआ रामलीला का मंचन, रावण दहन पर भी संकट, जानिए वजह

Aditya Krishna/Amethi: Even though the grand temple of Lord Ram is rapidly taking shape in Ayodhya, UP, clouds of crisis have started looming over the Ramlila of Amethi. Due to Ramlila not being staged here this time, the 113 year old tradition has finally been broken. Every morning in Amethi, Awadh, starts with politics and ends with Lord Ram. Even after this, the staging of Lord Ram’s Leela has been eclipsed. Along with Ramlila, effigy burning on Vijayadashami also may not be possible this time. Clouds of crisis are looming over that too.

Let us tell you that this is the oldest Ramlila of Gauriganj district headquarters of Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh. Which has been organized continuously since 1909 under the banner of Ramlila Manchan Committee, but this time Ramlila was not organized. The reason for this is that Ramlila Maidan is encroached upon and despite repeated complaints to the administration, the encroachment is not being removed. Along with this, the administration people are also hesitant in helping the people of the committee. This is what the people of the committee say. Forget Ramlila, even the effigy of Dashanan might not be burnt this time. Because there is a lot of anger among the people due to the negligence of the administration.

Due to neglect every time, decision was taken not to stage it this time.

OP Singh, a senior member of the committee and playing the role of patron in staging Ramlila, said that Ramlila is the oldest. Lord Ram is our idol, but here the administration does not help us even a bit in the name of Ramlila. In such a situation, every time we were given assurances, but later in the name of help, we were only misled. Ramlila has not been organized this time due to no arrangements being made and encroachments not being removed and due to disturbances. And if the administration ignores it, then we will not even burn the effigy of Dashanan and our age-old tradition will be broken. Whose administration will be responsible.
