19th East Asia Summit PM Narendra Modi

There are deep parallels between India’s “Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative” and the “ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific”. A free, open, inclusive, prosperous and rules-based Indo-Pacific is vital for peace and progress of the entire region. Important. Peace, security and stability of the South China Sea is in the interest of the entire Indo-Pacific region.
‘This is not an era of war’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the East Asia Summit, “The conflicts going on in different parts of the world are having the biggest negative impact on the countries of the Global South. Everyone wants, whether it is Eurasia or West Asia, as soon as possible.” Peace and stability should be restored. At the summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed deep condolences to the people affected by Cyclone Yagi. PM Modi said, we believe that maritime activities should be conducted under UNCLOS.
