Bhopal: Former chairman of Tata Group, Ratan Tata, known as the modern-day father of Indian industry, said goodbye to the world at the age of 86. India’s precious ‘Ratan’ Ratan Tata was loved by the entire country, whose hallmark was seen in Bhopal also. After the news of his death reached Bhopal in Mumbai, people here too were immersed in grief. CM Dr. Mohan Yadav saluted Ratan Naval Tata for his unique work. Through Local 18, the people of Bhopal made a big demand from the Modi government. People demanded from the Central Government that Ratan Tata should get Bharat Ratna.
No one can take the place of ‘Ratan Tata’
It is said about Ratan Tata, former chairman of Tata Group, that he was a land-based industrialist. Talking to Local 18, the people of Bhopal said that he was the person who gave recognition to India in the business world on the world stage. No one will be able to fill his place in the industry.
Youth considered Ratan Tata as a role model
Talking to Local 18, the youth of Bhopal termed Ratan Tata’s demise as a big loss for India. Said, we have been studying Ratan Tata since childhood. He had such a kind-hearted personality that we got to learn a lot from him.
Created ‘Tata’, gave it recognition in the world
Ratan Naval Tata took over Tata Group as chairman in the year 1992. He established Tata in many areas only after assuming the post of Chairman of Tata. It was Ratan Tata who started the risky business of making cars in India and later made Land Rover and Jaguar a part of the Tata Group, bringing Tata recognition on the world map.
