Who is Sanjay Roy?
Accused Sanjay Roy has four sisters. He did his first marriage in 2014. His first wife left within two months. Then married again in 2016-17 but soon he also left her. His third wife died while fighting cancer. Sanjay was deployed in the Disaster Management Unit of Kolkata Police as a civil volunteer in 2018. In 2021, under another order, he was transferred to the Central Welfare Board, Kolkata Police. Two boxing certificates were also found in his documents. He was living in a police barrack and helping in treatment for police personnel and their family members at the RG Kar Medical College. He was also given a motorcycle.
