Patna: On the occasion of Navratri, a huge crowd gathers in Patna. Especially on the days of Ashtami, Navami and Dashami, there is a jam-like situation on the roads. Regarding this, the traffic police has made changes in the traffic system of the city. Under this traffic plan, movement of vehicles on many roads of Patna has been banned till October 12. Separate parking arrangements have also been made for the people coming to watch Durga Puja. This traffic plan will be applicable from today till October 12.
Entry of vehicles banned on these routes
Movement of all vehicles will be prohibited towards Dak Bungalow from Bhattacharya Square, Patna Junction and Swaminandan Tiraha. On this route from Dak Bungalow intersection to Kotwali, movement of all types of vehicles will be completely prohibited on both the flanks. There will be no movement of vehicles from New Dakbungla Road to SP Verma Road. Small vehicles going from Patna Junction to Gandhi Maidan will be able to go through Goriatoli Chowk via Exhibition Road and will return again through the same route.
Entry of any type of vehicles will be prohibited from Dinkar Golambar towards Machhuatoli Chowk. These vehicles will be able to go from Dinkar Golambar to Vaishali Golambar to Baripath via Saidpur Road. Entry of any type of vehicles will be prohibited from Nala Road turn, Hindi Sahitya Sammelan towards Thakurbari turn.
In Baripath, movement of vehicles from Bakarganj turn towards Makhaniyankuon Road will be completely prohibited. Movement of all types of vehicles will be restricted from both sides in Sabzibagh Road. Traffic will be completely closed from both sides on Govind Mitra Road. Movement of vehicles will be prohibited from Makhaniyan Kuan Road South to Ashok Rajpath. Entry of vehicles in Khazanchi Road will be only from south to north.
Movement of vehicles from east to west in Patna City Chowk to Ashok Rajpath will be prohibited. Movement of vehicles from east to west will be prohibited from Purba Darwaza in Ashok Rajpath. Movement of vehicles from east to west will be prohibited from West Darwaza in Ashok Rajpath.
There will be no parking here
There will be no parking around Gandhi Maidan and it has been declared a no parking zone. SP Verma Road has been declared as “No Parking Zone”. There will be no parking of any vehicle on this route. No-parking zone has been declared from Titan Watch turn east of Kotwali police station to Sinha Library turn and Chhajjubagh. Parking of any type of vehicles is prohibited on the roads around Patna Museum and on the road from Kotwali T to Patna Museum in Buddha Marg.

Dr. CP in Fraser Road. Vehicles can be parked on both the flanks from Thakur’s residence to Swaminandan Tiraha and from Akashvani to JP Golambar. Apart from this, in the service lane of Veerchand Patel Path, GPO. Golambar to R. Vehicles can be parked on one flank till the block intersection. The road leading from Sinha Library turn to Bihar School Examination Board (only for two wheelers) and the grounds of Patna Science College and Patna College have been reserved for parking.
