In view of the traffic during the immersion, the route for vehicles coming to the banks of Yamuna has been changed from 6 am on October 10 and 11 till the end of the idol immersion, so please be careful.
Giving information about this, ACP Traffic Syed Arib Ahmed said that this system will remain in force on Yamuna Kinara Road on Vijayadashami on 12th October. Procession procession and immersion of idols will be done at various ghats. He further said that there are jams due to the vehicles of buyers coming to the showroom located on MG Road.
These routes were changed
- All the vehicles coming from Yamuna Expressway who wanted to go to Fatehabad Road, Taj Mahal, Gwalior have been diverted to Fatehabad Road, Taj Mahal, Gwalior via Inner Ring Road.
- No commercial vehicle will be able to come towards Belanganj or Yamuna banks from Etmadduddaula via Ambedkar Bridge, these have been banned.
- The entry of all types of heavy vehicles and light vehicles has been closed from Water Works intersection via Yamuna banks to Cremation Ground intersection.
- There is a ban on any commercial small or big vehicle on the road from Belanganj, ACP Chhatta office to the banks of Yamuna.
- Movement of all types of commercial vehicles from Belanganj intersection is closed between Belanganj intersection and ACP Chhatta Office Cut. All vehicles coming in this direction will go through the country road.
- By placing a barrier on the Hathighat railway bridge towards the fort, only the vehicles bringing the statues will get entry, the rest will have to go through the changed route towards the cremation ground.
- No roadways or tourist and commercial vehicles will be able to go from Agra Fort towards Hatighat from Bijli Ghar intersection.
- Movement of all vehicles has been banned at the time of immersion of Durga idols on the Yamuna bank road and Hathighat.
- The entry of vehicles coming into the restricted area will remain closed till the program is over.
- No big vehicle like bus, matador, tractor etc. will be able to go to the banks of Yamuna from Victoria Park.
- There will be a ban on vehicles from the Strachey Bridge Railway Bridge Etmadaddolah side.
- Only transport department buses etc. vehicles diverted from Yamuna banks will be able to come through MG Road, Inner Ring Road. There will be a ban on other heavy vehicles and light vehicles here.
If you come to MG Road, where to park your car?
In view of the festivals, the traffic police has made a separate plan to avoid jams on MG Road and Shahganj Market. Under the scheme, separate parking has been created for 3 and 4 wheelers coming to MG Road showrooms and Shahganj market. Arrangements have also been made to change the route in Shahganj market. Under this scheme, 100 traffic police personnel have been put on duty. This temporary parking has been made at the Municipal Corporation parking lot, Sursadan Auditorium parking lot and vacant space near Diwani intersection.
