B.Tech Vs B.E: 99% लोगों को नहीं पता होता बीटेक और बीई में अंतर? कौन सा कोर्स दिलाता है लाखों की सैलरी?

BE and B. Tech Difference in Hindi: Often when there is talk of engineering studies, two courses are mentioned: first is BE, whose full form is Bachelor of Engineering, and second is B.Tech, which is called Bachelor of Technology. Both the courses seem similar. In such a situation, many people remain confused about BE and B.Tech. Now the question arises that what is the difference between the two?

So what is the difference?
The duration of both B.Tech and BE courses is 4 years, and both have eight semesters. Actually, the basic difference between B.Tech and BE is that BE is considered a knowledge-based course. In the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) course, more emphasis is given to theory. Being more knowledge-oriented, its syllabus and curriculum are not changed frequently. Some popular institutes like BITS Pilani, Anna University, NSIT offer Bachelor of Engineering.

If we talk about Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), then in this course the focus is more on practical knowledge rather than theory. It is considered an industrial-oriented course, hence there are updates in its syllabus and curriculum from time to time. Institutes like IITs, NITs, DTU etc. offer only B.Tech courses in engineering. In this way, it can be said in simple language that B.Tech degree is technology-oriented, whereas BE degree is knowledge-oriented. During BE course, students get an opportunity to understand every aspect of engineering in depth, whereas in B.Tech, they get an opportunity to learn in depth about the technical aspects and applications of science.

Where is BE done and who offers B.Tech?
Universities or colleges are such places from where you can do many professional courses including Arts, Science, Engineering. Many types of degree courses are conducted from here. In colleges which provide education in other subjects along with engineering, only Bachelor of Engineering (BE) course is offered there. In colleges which offer only engineering studies, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course is offered, however, it is also important to know that both the degrees are considered equivalent. Both B.Tech and BE are considered equal.

After which degree do you get more salary?
After doing both B.Tech and BE, candidates get jobs according to different courses. With either of the degrees, there are plenty of job opportunities in private companies. By doing either of the two courses, one can get jobs in various sectors including government, private and PSU. However, it is important to know clearly about B.Tech and BE that the salary and package also depends on which institute you have taken the degree from. If you have done B.Tech from IIT, then it is obvious that companies will immediately take you. Those who do BE and B.Tech from good institutions abroad get a package of Rs 1 crore each. Recently, a New York company has offered a package of Rs 1 crore 2 lakh to a student doing B.Tech from Triple IT Prayagraj. Similarly, 6 students have got a package of up to Rs 85 lakh.
