Chandigarh: The picture of Haryana Assembly elections has become clear. But the Congress party did not like it because what the Congress expected did not happen. Congress was hoping to make a comeback in Haryana after 10 years. But the situation was such that its state president also lost the election. State President of Congress Party Udaybhan was defeated by Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Harendra Singh from Hodal Assembly seat. Harendra Singh has defeated Udaybhan by about three thousand votes. Hodal Assembly constituency falls in Palwal district. There was 68.1 percent voting here. There were a total of 12 candidates on this seat. Along with Aam Aadmi Party, JJP, INLD, there were also independents.
Let us tell you that Udaybhan had expressed confidence yesterday that the Congress party will win the assembly elections with a record number of votes and the record of 2005 will also be broken.
