Bollywood actress Kriti Kharbanda is celebrating her 34th birthday today. Kriti has worked in more than 37 South and Bollywood films in her 14-year career. Has worked in more than 6 Bollywood films. However, till now Kriti has not been able to give a single solo hit in Bollywood. Of Kriti’s Bollywood films, only 1 ‘Housefull 4’ has been a hit at the box office. Besides, this film was also a multi-starrer film. Apart from this, none of Kriti’s films have been successful at the box office yet. Started career with South films
Kriti started her career in the Telugu film industry with Pipalla Raj’s Boney (2009). Which was an action film in which she played the lead female role. While the film failed at the box office, Kharbanda’s performance received praise from critics. Kharbandha’s next release, Chiru (2010), was his first film in the Kannada film industry. The film was a box office success and Kharbanda received good praise for her acting. She next appeared in the supporting role of Simran in Ala Modalaandi (2011), a romantic-comedy film. Kharbanda was next seen in the lead role in the Telugu film Teen Maar (2011), a remake of the Hindi film Love Aaj Kal (2009). His subsequent releases include Mr. Nukkayya (2012) and Prem Adda (2012). The latter is a remake of the Kannada film Subramanyapuram (2008).
Did Hindi films but did not get hits
After earning name in South cinema, Kriti turned to Bollywood and started her struggle in Mumbai in 2015. Kriti’s Bollywood film Raaz Robot was released in the year 2016. This film was a flop at the box office. After this worked with Karthik Aryan in the film ‘Guest in London’. But this film also flopped. After this, Kriti was well liked in the film ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ but the film did not work. Even after this, Kriti continued to get films. Till now, Kriti’s 2019 film Housefull 4 is the only Bollywood film which has been a hit. But the special thing is that multi-starrer casting was done in this film also. Till now Kriti has not got a single solo hit in Bollywood.
