Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Thursday made a major attack on Hemant Soren’s JMM-led coalition government. Shivraj said that Hemant Soren’s government is more deadly than the severe cyclonic storm ‘Dana’. Shivraj warned that if the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led government comes back to power, it will create havoc in the state. Shivraj further said that the severe cyclonic storm Dana will disappear in two days but if the Hemant Soren government comes to power again, it will create havoc.
Allegations of corruption, destruction and plunder
Addressing a rally in Ranchi, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan alleged corruption, destruction and loot during the five-year rule of the JMM government. Shivraj told the people who came to the rally that the time has come to overthrow Hemant Soren’s coalition government.
When will the elections be held?
The Election Commission has announced the dates of assembly elections in Jharkhand. Elections will be held in 2 phases for a total of 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand. Voting will be held in the state on November 13 and 20 and the result will be declared on November 23. Voting on Dumka assembly seat will be held in the second phase on 20 November 2024.
