Mumbai: Seven Legislative Council Members (MLCs) nominated by the Governor will be sworn in today before the implementation of the code of conduct. According to the information, Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gore will administer the oath to the nominated members at Vidhan Bhawan this afternoon.

Swearing in ceremony will be held in the afternoon

According to news agency ANI, a case is pending in the High Court regarding the vacant posts of 12 MLCs appointed by the Governor. The High Court has completed the hearing on the petition of Shiv Sena UBT Kolhapur chief Sunil Modi and reserved the order. Now the government has recommended the names of seven people for these appointments and the swearing-in ceremony will take place today.

These people will be sworn in

According to sources, among the MLCs appointed by the Governor, there are 3 leaders from BJP, 2 from NCP and 2 from Shiv Sena. BJP has given opportunity to state president of BJP Mahila Aghadi Chitra Wagh, state general secretary of the party Vikrant Patil and Babusingh Maharaj Rathore of Pohradevi Sansthan of Banjara community of Washim district. Pankaj Bhujbal and Idris Nayakwadi from NCP have been given Legislative Council seats. Pankaj Bhujbal is the son of Chhagan Bhujbal.

He got a chance from Shiv Sena

BJP has given a chance to two people from the party organization in the Legislative Council. Also, BJP has given the message of giving opportunity to the Banjara community by sending Babusingh Maharaj Rathore to the Legislative Council. Former MP Hemant Patil and former MLA Manisha Kayande are being sent to the Legislative Council from Shiv Sena.

Election dates will be announced today

Let us tell you that the Election Commission will announce the assembly elections of Maharashtra today. The Election Commission will organize a press conference at 3.30 pm in Delhi to announce detailed information related to the elections. The tenure of Maharashtra Assembly ends on 26 November.
