Here, the state government will provide a grant of Rs 33,000 to farmers doing natural farming to buy a cow, and will also get a subsidy of Rs 8,000 to pave the floor of the cow shed. Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) The official gave this information on Thursday. “Farmers doing natural farming in the state will be given a grant of Rs 33,000 to buy local cows,” Neha Bhardwaj, assistant technical manager of the Agricultural Technology Management Agency, said during a program in Manjhiar village. Apart from this, a subsidy of Rs 8,000 will also be given for paving the floor of the cow shed.

An awareness and public sensitization camp on natural farming was organized in Manjhiar, where Bhardwaj said that chemical fertilizers and poisonous pesticides should not be used in natural farming.

Environment protection is necessary along with farming

He said that crops grown through natural farming are safe for health and the cost of farming is also less. By adopting this farming, farmers can increase their income and can also contribute to environmental protection. He said that the main components of natural farming like Jeevamrit, Beejamrit, Dhanjeevamrit and indigenous pesticides can be prepared at home from the dung and urine of local cows.

He also gave information about local breed of cows like Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Rathi, Thar and Parker and also told about Rajiv Gandhi Startup Scheme. Pea seeds were also distributed to the farmers in the camp.
