Municipality threw garbage in front of electricity department officer’s office
Bhindah A unique case of mutual conflict has come to light between two government departments of Madhya Pradesh. In this, due to non-payment of electricity bill of Rs 3 crore, the electricity department cut off the electricity supply of the municipality. Angered by this, the municipality got the garbage thrown in front of the office of a senior officer of the electricity department.

There are frequent cases of disconnection of electricity connections of common consumers due to non-payment of bills by the electricity department. But what will happen when one government department cuts off the electricity supply to another government department? The latest example of this was seen in Bhind district. Due to outstanding of Rs 3 crore from the municipality here, its connection was disconnected by the electricity department on Friday evening. Due to this the entire functioning of the municipality came to a standstill.

If you don’t agree then the electricity department will give you garbage thrown at the office.
In such a situation, municipal officials and councilors reached the electricity department to talk. But while giving instructions to pay the bill, the SE of the Electricity Department said that the electricity supply of the municipality will be restored only after paying the bill. After this, municipal councilors and employees, angry with the electricity department, dropped the garbage loaded in garbage vehicles in front of the SE office. Due to which there was chaos in the electricity department office. During this time, police force was also present at the spot but did not interfere in the fight between the two government departments.

A video of the municipality’s actions has also surfaced. It is seen that some municipal vehicles are parked at the electricity department office which are loaded with garbage. It is seen in the video that some people are giving some directions to those throwing garbage. A person is indicating with gestures where else to dump the garbage. Electricity department employees protest on this but no hearing takes place.

At the same time, the employees of the electricity department protested against this action of the municipality and sat on strike there. Police is also seen in the video but they are not seen taking any action.
