Shardiya Navratri 2024 Navami Date: Ashtami and Navami puja have special significance during Navratri. Kanya Puja is also performed on both these days. At the same time, performing Homa or Havan on the occasion of Navami of Navratri is also considered a very ritual. On the day of Navami, devotees perform Navami Homa to please Goddess Durga. By doing this one gets good health and life. With the blessings of Mother Durga, all the obstacles arising in life are removed. Navami Homa is performed during the day on the occasion of Navratri and Durga Puja. In the scriptures, Homa performed at night is not considered fruitful. On the ninth day of Navratri, Homa is performed only after Navami Puja during the day. Navami puja date and havan auspicious time in 2024
This year, Navami Puja of Shardiya Navratri will be performed for two days. Maha Navami is on 11th and 12th October. According to the Panchang, Navami Tithi will start on October 11 at 12:06 pm. Navami Tithi will end on October 12 at 10:58 am. On October 11, it will be from 12:06 pm to 5:55 pm. Whereas on October 12, Navami Tithi will remain till 10.58 am only. In such a situation, the auspicious time for Havan will be from 6.20 am to 10.58 am.

There is a tradition of worshiping girls on the Ashtami and Maha Navami days of Navratri. By feeding 9 small girls on both these days, Mata Rani becomes pleased and fulfills all the wishes of the devotee. After feeding the girls, give them some gift and also take blessings from the girls before bidding farewell. Girls are considered to be the form of Mother Durga.
