Hyderabad: Section 144 has been imposed in the city for a month. Hyderabad Police has banned organizing any kind of procession, dharna and public meeting till 28 November. An order in this regard has been issued by Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand. The order issued said that they have received credible information that many organizations/parties are trying to affect the peace and order in Hyderabad city by holding protests and protests. According to the order issued, gathering of five or more people, taking out processions, holding dharnas, rallies or public meetings is not allowed in Hyderabad city for the purpose of maintaining public law and order, peace and harmony.

Apart from this, in the notification issued by Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, it has been said that groups of people will not be allowed to make any speech, make gestures or show pictures, make any signs, placards, flags and any other material in electronic form. There is a ban on displaying any type of message etc. which is likely to cause disturbance to public peace and order in the borders of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It is further said that, peaceful sit-ins and protests can be held only at Indira Park Dharna Chowk. No dharna or protest of any kind is allowed anywhere else in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

As per the order issued by the police, the public is informed that if any person violates the orders especially around the Secretariat and other sensitive places, he will be prosecuted under appropriate penal provisions. Let us tell you that the order issued by Hyderabad Police will remain in force from 6 pm on October 27 to 6 pm on November 28. Apart from this, it has been said in the order that police officers and military personnel on duty, funeral rites, flying squad of the education department, and any person or group duly exempted by the competent authority have been exempted from this order.
