BJP has won the battle of Haryana. Proving all the exit polls wrong, it has registered a historic victory by crossing the magic figure of majority. BJP will be the first party to form government in the state for the third consecutive time. BJP has won 48 out of 90 assembly seats in Haryana, while Congress has won 37 seats. Apart from this, three seats have been won by independent candidates. BJP is not only happy about the election results, meanwhile two independent MLAs have added to their happiness by supporting them.
Two of the three independent MLAs have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Independent MLAs Rajesh June and Devendra Kadyan have joined BJP. Both the MLAs joined the BJP after a meeting with Haryana election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan and other BJP leaders.
