The history of Budhiya Mata Temple is very mysterious and amazing. Temple priest Gautam Kumar tells that in the year 1818, a cholera epidemic had wreaked havoc in this area. Due to this epidemic, many people of the Panchayat were dying and the entire village was in turmoil. Then suddenly a wall of mud appeared in the forest, in which some figures had emerged. After seeing this wall, many people of the village saw a dream, in which they got the indication to worship.

At the same time, an old woman, who was later called Budhiya Mata, started worshiping there and gradually this worship spread throughout the village. Miraculously, the epidemic was eliminated from the village and the old mother also suddenly disappeared. Even today the figures of that wall are present in the temple and this place remains the center of people’s faith. The first building of the temple was built in the year 1921, which is still safe.

In the temple of Budhiya Mata, Mata is worshiped in the form of a body instead of an idol. This body is made of clay, which the devotees worship with full devotion.
