SP MLA forcibly made SDM sit in the car

Mauh Samajwadi Party demonstrated in Ghosi alleging irregularities in the elections held for the post of Director in Farmers Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited. The candidates and other SP leaders sat on strike under the leadership of District President Doodhnath Yadav. Elections were held between SP and BJP candidates through lottery system in which BJP candidate Janardan Singh was declared victorious. Angered by this, SP workers started a ruckus.

Allegation of misbehavior with SDM

Ghosi SDM Rajesh Aggarwal, who had come to calm the ruckus, was forcefully made to sit in the car by SP MLA Sudhakar Singh. Instructed him not to say anything. He repeatedly kept pointing his finger at his mouth and gesturing to the SDM in a threatening tone. This incident was also captured on camera.

SP worker also threatened SDM

After the SP MLA made the SDM sit in the car, a SP worker came in front of his car and repeatedly threatened the SDM and kept saying, “Get over the intoxication”! That means all the intoxication will go away. This incident was also captured in the cameras present at the spot.

what is the whole matter

Actually, elections for the post of director are going on in Ghosi Sugar Mill of Mau district in which 9 directors have already been elected unopposed. There was an interesting contest between the candidates of SP and BJP for the post of a director. Both the candidates got 9-9 votes and the contest was tied. On which the commotion continued late into the night. The administration decided to hold elections through lots in the morning. Samajwadi Party leaders started pressurizing them to declare the election results at night itself. Due to ruckus by SP workers, Returning Officer Satya Priya Singh, Assistant Returning Officer SDM Rajesh Aggarwal and Block Development Officer Ramakant left without taking any decision on the elections.

In the presence of the election officer, the re-election process was carried forward today at 10:00 am in which equal number of votes were cast. By taking a unanimous decision among the candidates, it was agreed to hold further elections through lottery system. After the slips were cast, the BJP candidate won.
