Shriya Saran dominates the ramp
Shreya Saran, who ruled people’s hearts with her simplicity, acting and looks, became the showstopper at the 2024 Lakme Fashion Week, but she is now in the news on social media for another reason. Everyone’s attention was on the actress on the ramp. Shriya is not only a great actress but also a very famous classical dancer and when the time comes, she never shies away from showcasing her talent. While everyone was walking the ramp, the actress did something different. Shriya Saran won everyone’s hearts by performing Kathak on the ramp.
Dance left the ramp walk
Instead of walking the ramp, Shriya Saran presented a beautiful Kathak dance to the tune of ‘In Aakhon Ki Masti’. She walked the ramp for designer Payal Singhal’s 25th anniversary showcase Tehzeeb, which is inspired by the Arabic art of gilding. Shriya Saran was in the limelight in the showstopper because she stopped walking for the dance performance. During this, she was seen wearing a stunning ivory and gold Anarkali. Seeing the actress, some people started clapping and some started making her videos.

The ivory organza Anarkali kurta and churidar set glittered with gold sequins, while solitaire diamond studs lined the skirt giving volume to the dress. The churidar has a rich design with gold and diamonds all around it. Speaking to ANI, Shriya talked about dance and said, ‘When Payal said that she was celebrating her 25th anniversary, I thought why not do something special and be a part of it.’ She further said that she wants me to dance. I was really happy because I have learned dance in Delhi and after that, I am learning in Bombay. That’s why dance is a very important part of my life.
