Lucknow. On the birth anniversary of socialist thinker Jai Prakash Narayan, the political atmosphere has heated up in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. On being prevented from garlanding the statue of Jai Prakash located at JPNIC, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has thrown a googly which can put Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in political trouble.
After being stopped from going to JPNIC, Akhilesh Yadav on Friday addressed his supporters by garlanding the statue of JP outside his house, during which he demanded Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to withdraw support from the Modi government at the Centre. He said that the Chief Minister of Bihar also emerged from the JP movement. They must be seeing how they are being prevented from honoring JP. BJP stopped every good work
Akhilesh Yadav said that we had constructed JPNIC so that a world class center could be established where Samajwadi Party could gather. But BJP has stopped every good work. There is a conspiracy behind this also because she wants to sell it. Don’t know the reason why the government is not allowing wreath laying. JP’s birth anniversary will come every year. We socialists will celebrate every year. Let’s see how long this police will stand.
This destructive government
Describing the Yogi government of the state as destructive, Akhilesh Yadav said that if you give them anything good, they will destroy it. Without taking his name, he targeted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and said that he himself is celebrating the festival, but is not allowing us to celebrate. He said that I was told that there are animals, insects and scorpions in JPNIC. This government is not able to save people from wolves. The government should not worry about our health, we will continue to agitate.
